Need some suggestions if you get a minute

We have a small guest bath, and mini pedastal sink. I'm having trouble thinking of how to arrange this area.

Here's what I'm thinking: I'd like a place to hang my nice guest hand towels (yay I get to use them!), a solution for toilet paper (where to put and what to use for the roll and for extra TP storage), and I'd like a glass shelf in here..for soap or a candle, etc. I'm putting a rectangle mirror rimmed in silver over the sink....any other ideas on how to make this functional without over-crowding are much appreciated!

Almost and i mean almost there

We're actually starting to move THIS WEEK! It's crazy. Of course, my pictures are a little behind. I will add the most recent ones once we're in. Over the weekend we moved in the refrigerator. whoa. It was a bit too much of an undertaking. Matt was left with 2 big bruises on his arms, and it's hard for me to move because I'm sore. Big thanks to Carrie for supervising and helping us! My brother helped, too; but he had hurt his back, so we didn't want to be the reason for injury, so hopefully he's okay. I am so excited to soon be in the house permanently! In the meantime, if you know anyone who wants a house in High Point Terrace, send them on!!

the floors are now finished...this was prior to the last coat.

It's actually clean, now:) again, older pic

that fixture is from my grandmother's house...it has little prisms that go on it. Also, we have the stairs stained, now.

we had to come up for a solution for the bathroom since there was the SUPER huge window right there. Hopefully, no peekers.

So, after years and years and decades and centuries of building, we're RIGHT THERE. I can't wait to update once we're moved moved.

Paint..and floor is refinished!

This post is about 2 weeks old. I just never got around to uploading pictures. Now, we have lighting as well. YES! We walk in the house and flip a switch and LIGHT! I know that should be totally normal, but we've had this house for close to 2 years now and had to rush to Somerville on Fridays to be sure and get there before dark so we'd have light to see it. So thank you Benjamin Franklin. You and electricity rock.

I will try to post those pics soon, too, but for now we have paint and floors. Woop! And, finally, I'm able to say that we'll be LIVING in this house in the next month. I think we may spend the night there this weekend. We can't move furniture in, yet, because there is still a final floor coating that has to happen after the final paint touch ups after the final electrical stuff and after the final plumbing. Sounds like a lot, but it's really not much at all! Just a few more weeks!

The den (there is our fan in a box)

kitchen! and the paper path the tiling guy made to the bathroom. Looks like a trail we made in our kitchen:)

color! (well, neutral)

our dining room (with chandelier in a box)

yay to da yayaaaa! we haven't had the stairs all the way stained, yet, but they'll match the floor.

i'm in love. This was the chandelier I picked out for the library/piano room/one day nursery. Matt told me to handle it, and I went with pearls. I love pearls. I'm a pearl over diamond girl. Don't get me wrong; the chandeliers out there with the bling bling prisms are beautiful, too, but this one is an instant calm for me. ahhhh.

It's getting so close, and I'm so very excited. Move in couldn't come at a more perfect time. Fall is my favorite. I can't wait to put mums and pumpkins all over the porch. Maybe we won't have 1 piece of furniture in the house, but we're bringing in the blow up bed and moving in by October.
