My Christmas pictures went to the top, and I didn't feel like moving them down, so this is a little out of order.
Work: My boss resigned at the end of October, and I was super sad. He was GREAT. It took a while for things to start changing, but things have gotten much busier since he left. There's just lots more to do. We're supposed to get a new director soon, so that should start to ease the workload.
Moving: we have settled in much more. I'm happy with where everything is, and it feels so much like home! We had the upstairs carpeted, and have now moved beds up there. That was a final "to do." We still have tons to do, but it's getting there.
Holidays: Thanksgiving was so much fun. I love it for it's more laid back quality. We just ate a lot, sat around, and watched football. Christmas was a blast this year. The nieces and nephews were so cute! Plus, we had tons of good food, and getting to see the whole family was so special to me. I hadn't gotten to hang out with Matt's brother, Charlie and his wife Joy, and Matt's sister, Kristen and my nephew, Will, in TOO LONG! We had lots of fun playing "Glee" on the Wi. It was hilarious. Christmas at the Douglas house was lots of fun, too. We had breakfast for dinner, opened gifts and relaxed. so nice!
Overall, life is good, just busy busy! Looking forward to 2012!
